heya, folks. I'm Penfold. I write stories, or maybe essays, or maybe narratives...or maybe just random thoughts. have a look at my blog or my writing if you like.

TL;DR Press is a writing community I co-founded and a charity press that gives emerging writers a voice and helps good causes along the way.

why the walrusy stuff? waaay back in college, a friend and I were bitching about classes, and the talk went gonzo: Russian language, the Beatles, Lewis Carroll, Kubla Khan...the instrumental walrus became our symbol of sudden but undefinable inspiration. I drew this walrus around then.

it's a note from past me to present me; find inspiration in odd places.
